Tell us a bit about yourself, so we can get to know you
I'm into website design, search engine optimisation and social media. Active on twitter and facebook, less so on linkedin. I was a lawyer for a few years before I left to start my own business.
Tell us about your favourite interests and any hobbies you have.
I enjoy a spot of soccer several times a week followed by a relaxing shower and a snooze :) In my spare time, I create websites, reverse engineer Google and generally attempt to take over the world
Do you have children? Do you have pets?
I had a fish, but it died. Does that count? Now I have a whole aquarium :)
PS: Techie Tips
You will find helpful notes on how various aspects of the site work in the discussion group “Techie Tips For Using The Site”. Techie Tips are updated regularly, too.
If you have any other questions, please post it by opening a topic in the FORUM. That way, we can help lots of people in the future, by answering questions that new users may have.
Welcome to Stories My Nana Tells. Please let us know of any special interests you have or groups you would like to see on the site. Feel free to join any of the existing Groups that interest you or start one of your own! Especially one for those who also want to take over the world!
Start your own blog and post your photos. You can add your links to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, your other blog and sites in your profile to give you one-stop resource. Post the URL in your LinkedIn profile, if you have one. Join the local LinkedIn group, too, if you like.
I have visited a lot of other "networking" sites and the one thing that seems to be missing is the culture of true networking - rather just a lot of different mini-sites at the one address. We really want Stories My Nana Tells to be unique and standout from the crowd - by fostering a genuine interactive networking spirit amongst its members.
This is a networking site. We are all here to share and appreciate one another.
Above all, Welcome and have fun!
Cheers Lesley
