Back it up!

I am often surprised by the number of business owners who do notregularly backup their computer system so that a version is availableif the original data is lost or corrupted. There are many unforeseencircumstances that may occur, for example, fire, flood, a computervirus or simply your computer crashes and causes you to lose your data.It can even be accidentally deleting a file.Sometimes data isable to be recovered when your system crashes; however, this is oftenat considerable expense and…See More

Determining your Budget when Seeking a Virtual Assistant

During the last week I started with another new client which was great. The following day I received an email from this client to format a small document to ensure consistency of logo placement & branding specifications. The client specified in their email "please spend no longer than two hours on this project".Now, I took a look at the documents that were sent through as examples and the unformatted document and I thought I had misunderstood the instructions. Perhaps I was to redo all of…See More

Hi Debra
I am using the WNA Monday email to promote my new eBook on "Networking To A Plan". It has been getting rave reviews and I am very happy with that! The link to the book is on the front page of the network - just click on the bright yellow sunflower and request a copy. Nothing to buy. It's a gift.

I am looking forward to the next WNA lunch, too.
Cheers,
Lesley

Lots of fun today, dealing with the Ning changes and learning more about how to use the network better. Have posted some notes in the "Techie Tips For Using The Site" discussion on the main page to back up the broadcast message sent tonight.

Have opened a forum topic for feedback, too, so anyone can ask any questions that they might have. Will be setting up a Facebook Fan page very soon, too.

Hi Ella

I am 66 yrs old and have travelled around the world a couple of times on my own. Widowed now for seven years; my best adventure was when I was returning from a trip to Hawaii and I came home to Perth via Queenstown in NZ. Went 4 wheel driving; bungy jump; flew over the Incredible Mountains in a helicopter and landed on a glacier. Then came back from Milford sound in a single engine plane with a 21 yr old pilot. I was 61 then.

Used to have a terrible fear of heights; couldn’t stand on a chair to change a light globe; taught myself not to be afraid of heights; now fly in helicopters every chance I get. Some photos of my NZ expedition on MySpace at Cool Nana Lesley on MySpace Have just come back from the Bungle Bungles and went 4WD driving, camping out, helicopter flights and whale watching in Broome. Have flown the Grand Canyon twice. Spent a whole day flying, driving and trekking up to an Orangutan sanctuary in Sabah.

I write stories for 7-12 yo children Stories My Nana Tells and have been writing and being published for six years. Worst adventure: coming home from Toronto in a wheelchair! Pain in the Neck
I think I would be a great subject for your story.

Cheers
