No Tall Poppies has been created to provide an opportunity for nurturing; support; achievement without glory; on-going renewal; joy and sharing.

Have a closer look at a field of poppies. We love the way they grow in a group. Some heads slightly bowed; some faces lifting to the sun – and, just occasionally one or two taller poppies.

We think our “No Tall Poppies” will be 25+, working full time or permanent part time after an earlier career, multi-skilled and proven performers in their own style. You may have had a late life career change or overcome great adversity to start again.

Unbeknowns to you, you are probably better known than you think or expect – for all the right reasons. You might even receive an invitation to become a “No Tall Poppy” by nomination from a friend or colleague who believes you should be acknowledged quietly (and not so quietly) by your peers.

Things you can do at No Tall Poppies:

1. Spiff Up Your Profile. Tell us about your pets, your hobbies, start a blog, add widgets and have fun customising your page.
2. Post Your Photos. Show off your pets, your travels and let us enjoy your company.
3. Post Your Videos. When you have uploaded your videos to YouTube or elsewhere, post a link, so we can enjoy them with you. Sport, holidays, music - whatever takes your fancy (within reason, of course :-) )
4. Join A Discussion Group. Let's make our groups very interactive and fun. If you have a pet passion, start your own group. There is lots of space here - and you can share your discussions on Twitter and Facebook for more interactivity.
5. Techie Tips. If you any questions about how to do something here, have a look at our Techie Tips and if you need any more help, please ask! Just add a question and we will answer it for you.
6. One Minute Tips: The One Minute Tips group is where lots of tips to make using your profile page, your blog and other Network services get posted.  Check it out regularly.  Add some of your own.
7. Promote Your Page. Everytime you post a blog, upload some photos or a video, join a group - promote YOUR page to your network. The whole purpose of No Tall Poppies is to provide YOU with a network and a portal through which everyone can enter YOUR online world.
